In this complex and challenging field, it is easy to take on a workload that is too heavy when you are trying to adequately meet the needs of the service users with whom you are working. This can become daunting and, after a period of time, lead to burnout. Fortunately, you can prevent burnout by making time for self-care. Self-care is an essential responsibility and an important part of your professional life.
